Fundraiser

Libby, Justin, and Ava
This is a post to introduce you to a beautiful Etsy shop, but to also promote a fundraiser for a beautiful person.

I have posted about Libby in the past, but I have some new followers who may not have heard of her yet. Libby and I went to the same college and had mutual friends. We had gone on a Young Life Spring Break trip together one year and I really got to know her more.

Last July Libby found out that she has cancer. She started writing a blog about her journey, and to tell her story. She is married and has a one year old, Ava. Libby has an amazing faith and tells it like it is. Her story has inspired me and challenged me to grow deeper in my own faith journey. You can read all about her story here: www.libbyryder.blogspot.com

Now, to share the Etsy shop.  A book club in Virginia (where Libby, Justin, and Ava live) is raising money for their family.  The woman who owns this shop has already discounted her items, is offering another 15% off with the promo code LIBBY15, and half of the money raised will go to Libby and her family.  This shop has gorgeous jewelry.  Go here to check it out.  I just bought myself this and I can't wait to get it!
<3 it!
What a great way to help someone out AND get something really beautiful.  I ask for prayers for Libby and her family.  She has only two more chemo sessions left!  She is an amazing person with quite the story.

SO CUTE!

Check out MiniMi BabyGear! This site has seriously adorable baby things and now through June 5th 50% of the proceeds go to help the Pettinga Family cover medical expenses. Please check it out! Trust me, this family is more than well-deserving.

FROM MINIMI BABYGEAR:

Little Miss Ellie was born deaf. She has captivated everyone she knows with her bright blue eyes and willingness to smile. After many months of waiting, Ellie finally received her cochlear implants in March. Unfortunately for this family, even with insurance, the medical bills are piling up fast. Dr's visits, hospital stays, co-pays, time away from work...it all adds up. In the midst of Ellie's Journey to Hearing, her dad had an unexpected two-week hospital stay and is currently waiting for a new kidney.

I would love your help to raise some money for Ellie and her family. From now until June 5th, MiniMe BabyGear will donate 50% of the proceeds for every sale that uses discount code ELLIE during checkout.

Please click here to read more about Ellie or the 50% fundraiser.

SIlent Auction Items

\
My sister and her husband had an adoption fundraiser today with a silent auction. Obviously, I had to donate a few items to help raise some money for my nephew to come home to Michigan from Ethiopia! I am so happy with how these items turned out and can't wait to make a few more to add to my Etsy shop! What do you think of them?

If you want to follow my sister's family's adoption journey follow her blog at Five and Counting.
